giorgia chiarion (b. 1990, ita-uk) is an artist and researcher exploring how people inhabit physical and digital spaces. her practice moves between performance, cooperative research, and participatory space-building, often spiralling toward the intimate: the family, the home, and the body. utilising weaving, embroidery, and repair as a methodology of material inquiry, she treats slow, tactile labour as both a tool for gathering data and a means of artistic production. she is co-founder of tracing spaces, reflections of-, queering families. giorgia has presented work at the institute of contemporary arts (london), design museum (london), museo anahuacalli (cdmx) and museo del cárcamo de dolores (cdmx).
